Elevit Vitamins & Minerals for Pregnancy & Lactation:

During pregnancy and lactation the need for vitamins and minerals increases greatly. Elevit is formulated to provide additional vitamins and minerals to meet the increased needs of the mother-to-be and to provide her growing baby with the best possible conditions and nourishment throughout its whole development - from conception, through pregnancy and on to breastfeeding.

Pregnancy supplements similar to Elevit have been shown in clinical trials to reduce the liklihood of certain birth defects, such as spina bifida when taken in the early stage of pregnancy. For more information, ask your health professional.

Instructions

Take one Elevit tablet daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Take Elevit if possible for at least one month before pregnancy, throughout pregnancy and the breastfeeding period.

Warnings

Do not take Elevit if you have:

• Very high levels of vitamin D in your blood.
• High levels of calcium in your blood or urine.
• A kidney disease
• Been told you have a problem with your body's physical and chemical processes.
• Been told you have problems storing iron.

Ingredients

Each Elevit tablet contains:

Vitamin B1 1.55 mg; Vitamin B2, 1.8 mg; Vitamin B3 19 mg; Vitamin B5 10 mg; Vitamin B6 2.6 mg; Vitamin B124.0 µg; Vitamin C 100 mg; Vitamin D3 12.5 µg; Vitamin E 15 mg; Vitamin H 200 µg; Folic Acid 800 µg; Calcium 125 mg; Iron 60 mg; Magnesium 100 mg; Phosphorus 125 mg; Copper 1 mg; Magnanese 1 mg; Zinc 7.5 mg.

Contains lactose, yeast, sucrose, and sulphur.

Elevit does not contain gluten, egg, peanuts or preservatives.
